Will Ferrell, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Say They Had Never Met Before New Movie
Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s new movie Downhill, premiered Sunday at Sundance, but that’s not the weird part: The weird part is that Ferrell says the two had never met before they worked on the film together, UPI reports. “I had been sent the script and sat down with Julia, which was literally the first time we’d ever met,” Ferrell said during a Monday appearance on Good Morning America. “Still, we can’t believe it. We’re kind of baffled by it,” Louis-Dreyfus said. “You never met? You’re like the titans, the icons of your generation,” GMA’s Will Reeve said. “That’s what we said!” Louis-Dreyfus agreed. “We’re titans!” Both actors were cast members on Saturday Night Live, although in different eras: Ferrell from 1995 to 2002, while Louis-Dreyfus was on the show from 1982 through 1985.
