Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively welcomed their third child together secretly over the summer. The famous pair managed it by keeping the news of her pregnancy quiet for a few months, and thereby buying more time than she really had near the end of her pregnancy.
No outlet has revealed the baby's gender, name or birth date, but People, Us Weekly and E! all confirmed that Reynolds and Lively did indeed welcome a child this summer. A source spills to Us Weekly that the secrecy was quite the undertaking, and planned with the precision of a military exercise.
The 32-year-old Lively kept off social media for most of the year, and did not reveal new shots of herself since the premiere of Reynolds' Detective Pikachu in May, when she revealed the pregnancy. In June, she made her last public appearance.
Why did they bother? They reportedly want to protect their older daughters James and Inez, in addition to their new recruit.
A source says: "They do everything they can to make sure the kids have a normal upbringing. The couple lives in the suburbs of New York, and "Blake has a really great support system there."
Reynolds took off time from his film to hang with Lively and their new baby after she gave birth, but shockingly, there was no leak from the film set.
