Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor Terry Crews is slapping back at critics who have questioned his sexual assault story.
In October, Crews shared his own #MeToo story amid the flood of assault allegations that swept through Hollywood following the explosive reports that Harvey Weinstein abused dozens of women.
After Crews accused Hollywood exec Adam Venit of groping him at a party in 2016, some questioned his response at the time of the alleged attack. On Tuesday, Crews testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about being groped and Senator Dianne Feinstein asked why he didn’t fight back. Crews explained that he supports non-violent approaches to resolving problems.
50 Cent, after receiving blowback, for his post on Instagram saying "LOL ... Terry: I froze in fear. They would have had to take me to jail. ..."was a "joke."
On Friday, Crews posted a response to his critics on Twitter. "Why didn’t you say something? I did. Why didn’t you push him off? I did. Why didn’t you cuss him out? I did. Why didn’t you tell the police? I did. Why didn’t you press charges? I did. Why did you just let it happen? I didn’t. Why didn’t you beat him up? (Sigh)," he wrote.
