Taylor Swift to Perform at MTV VMAs for 1st Time in 4 Years
Can you guess who’s just been lined up to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards for the first time in four years? Taylor Swift says, “ME!” The network announced Wednesday that Swift will take to the VMAs stage for her first performance at the event since 2015, when she performed “Bad Blood” alongside Nicki Minaj. “Taylor Swift is performing at the @vmas and I CANNOT CALM DOWN!” the network tweeted, noting that it’s also been 10 years since Swift’s first VMAs performance. Her VMAs set will also mark Swift’s first major TV performance after the August 23 release of her seventh studio album, Lover. Swift is up for 10 awards at the 2019 MTV VMAs, which will air live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on August 26 starting at 8 p.m. ET.
