Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Maren Morris, BTS Among Biggest 2020 Grammys Snubs
The 2020 Grammy Awards nominations are out–and so are the pitchforks after several A-list artists got majorly snubbed. ET reports that among the big Grammy losers this year are Taylor Swift, whose album Lover got locked out of Album of the Year, and Beyoncé, who had two albums snubbed: The Lion King: The Gift and Homecoming: The Live Album. Meanwhile, Maren Morris went from winning Album of the Year at last week’s CMA Awards for GIRL to practically getting shut out of next year’s Grammys; she’s only up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for her “Common” duet with Highwomen bandmate Brandi Carlile. BTS fared even worse, receiving no nods, and Megan Thee Stallion likewise failed to capitalize on her “Hot Girl Summer” craze.
