Soulja Boy Dropped From Fordham University Concert After Arrest
After violating the terms of his probation last week, Soulja Boy has been dropped by a college that had hired him to perform at a spring break concert. The Blast reports that the rapper was removed from Fordham University’s Spring Weekend Concert lineup by the Campus Activity Board on Thursday. “The Campus Activities Board has watched, along with our fellow Fordham students, the headlines that have been in the news as a result of Soulja Boy’s comeback,” the organization writes in a statement. “After careful consideration, the Campus Activities Board has decided to remove Soulja Boy from the Spring Weekend concert lineup.” The rapper was arrested last Friday after possible ammunition was found in his home. He was, however, released from custody in time to appear during the Los Angeles Clippers’s halftime show.
