SCARLETT JOHANSSON DENIES ‘DEMEANING’ CLAIM SHE AUDITIONED TO DATE TOM CRUISE

Brendan Tighe, a former member of Tom Cruise’s Scientology security unit, appeared on NBC’s Megyn Kelly Today Wednesday, and he said Scarlett Johansson’s name was on a report he saw of women who auditioned to be in a relationship with Tom Cruise. Johansson sent a statement to The Hollywood Reporter saying it never happened.

"The very idea of any person auditioning to be in a relationship is so demeaning," she said. "I refuse for anyone to spread the idea that I lack the integrity to choose my own relationships. Only a man aka Brendan Tighe would come up with a crazy story like that."

Cruise was previously married to several Hollywood actresses, including Katie Holmes, Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers, and he has reportedly dated Penelope Cruz, Sofia Vergara, Laura Prepon and Rebecca De Mornay.
