ROSIE O’DONNELL & BROADWAY STRS TO PROTEST AT WHITE HOUSE

Rosie O’Donnell and cast members from some of Broadway’s biggest musicals, including Wicked, Hamilton, Beautiful, Phantom) are planning to serenade President Donald Trump today (Monday), but it may not be music to his ears.

The stars will sing Les Miserables’ "The People’s Song," Burt Bacharach’s "What the World Needs Now Is Love," The Wiz’s "A Brand New Day" and The Sound of Music’s "Climb Every Mountain," outside of the White House.

The #KremlinAnnex protest will be livestreamed on the MoveOn Facebook page. SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky is helping to organize the trip. The protests are entering their fourth week and were initiated online on Monday, July 16th, after Trump’s friendly meeting in Helsinki with Russia’s President Putin. Michael Avenatti and Alyssa Milano have also made appearances at the protests.
