Rihanna Settles Lawsuit Over “FU” Clothing Line
Rihanna has reached a settlement in the lawsuit over her Puma clothing line. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the pop star and Freedom United have privately settled the case. Freedom United sued Rihanna last year over her use of “F.U.” on some of her Puma products. The company said it had been using the “FU” on its clothing since 2006, and that Rihanna started putting a similar logo on her “Fenty University” clothing after she began working with Puma in 2014. Freedom United had been seeking an injunction against the star and unspecified damages. There is no word on the amount of the settlement. The judge has officially closed the case.
