Plagiarizing Principal Who Copied Kutcher Speech Is Suspended for 5 Days

<div>A West Virginia high school principal has been suspended without pay for five days due to plagiarism, according to the Associated Press. When Parkersburg High School Principal Kenny DeMoss spoke to his school’s graduating class, he seemed to use large portions of Ashton Kutcher’s 2013 speech to viewers of Nickelodeon’s Teen Choice Awards. Someone posted a video online comparing the two speeches. DeMoss claims that the ideas for the speech were his own but admits that he did not accurate cite his sources.</div>Kutcher recently posted about the incident on Twitter, using an Oscar Wilde quote about imitation being the sincerest form of flattery–and ending with “cite your sources kids and faculty.”
