New Ed Sheeran Album, “No. 6 Collaborations Project,” to Arrive July 12

Ed Sheeran announced Thursday that he’s dropping an album full of collaborations on July 12. “Before I was signed in 2011, I made an EP called No.5 Collaborations Project</i>. Since then, I’ve always wanted to do another, so I started No.6 on my laptop when I was on tour last year,” the British singer-songwriter wrote on Instagram alongside pics of the album’s cover and track list–with most of his secret collaborators’ names blacked out. “I’m a huge fan of all the artists I’ve collaborated with and it’s been a lot of fun to make. No.6 Collaborations Project will be out everywhere on 12 July.” Sheeran added that pre-orders will start Friday at midnight local time–which is also when he’ll drop a new joint track with Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock called “Cross Me.” The only other collaboration revealed in Sheeran’s post was his recent single “I Don’t Care” with Justin Bieber.
