MORGAN FREEMAN RESUMES FILMING FOLLOWING SEXUAL MISCONDUCT ALLEGTIONS

Morgan Freeman is returning to his NatGeo docuseries The Story of God following sexual misconduct allegations. Freeman has issued two apologies while still maintaining his innocence after CNN issued a report in May including multiple allegations of misconduct against the 80-year-old actor.

The Story of God, which Morgan hosts, halted production after the story broke. On Friday, NatGeo issued a statement saying that its parent company Fox investigated the allegations and found "no incidents of concern."

"We have now made the decision to move forward with the production of season three of The Story of God," NatGeo’s statement said. "We look forward to resuming pre-production this September. As a company, we take all issues of harassment very seriously and we’re confidently assured by the results of the investigation."

The third season of The Story of God will premiere on NatGeo in 2019.
