Miley Cyrus Shares “Golden Thing,” the Song Cody Simpson Wrote for Her in Hospital

Last week, Cody Simpson serenaded Miley Cyrus in her hospital bed with a song he wrote just for her as she battled tonsillitis. Now Cyrus has dropped the track on her Instagram Story. The 22-year-old Aussie singer-songwriter refers to his new boo as “crystal dream, Cali queen” in the three-minute ballad, which is titled “Golden Thing.” The 26-year-old Cyrus had said last week about the tune, “This sweeeeeet guy came to visit at the hospital and sang the sweeeeeeeetest song he wrote just for me. It’s too special to be only heard in full by my ears, so I am currently pressuring him to DROP IT next week…and it’s working.”
