Michelle Heaton has hit out at cruel trolls who accused her of stockpiling amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. 

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the Liberty X hitmaker, 40, lashed out at critics who saw her sizeable online food shop, as she revealed the delivery was placed two weeks ago and was for both her family and vulnerable friends. 

Sharing an image of her Ocado delivery, she held up a pack of Dettol wipes and revealed she was disinfecting the bags before she was delivering the food to her two high risk pals who are in lockdown.

Michelle appeared enraged by her critics as she revealed the real reason she had an excess of produce in the midst of the lockdown. 

People are being urged not to panic buy, with many stores placing restrictions on the amount of products allowed per customer. 

In her impassioned message, she also reference fellow hitmaker Tulisa, who hit headlines earlier in the day when she revealed her own efforts.

Worried that her elderly neighbours might struggle to do their shopping, or could feel lonely, Tulisa wrote that she would happy to be their ‘personal assistant’.

Michelle, who lives with her husband Hugh Hanley and their kids Faith, eight, and Aaron, six, wrote in her message: ‘The world is a hateful place sometimes.. 

how dare people on social assume anything right now or what I do or don’t do for others: I booked my delivery two weeks ago!…

‘For me my family and our two family friends who are currently in lock down high risk! I’m about to disinfect the lot and drop it to their door and keep ours for my family! We all need to do our bit absolutely!…

‘I just don’t feel the need to shout about it! But the haters hate and I can’t be bothered so here you go… the “aren’t I amazing looking for praise post” if you all wanna do your bit too you can…

Her outburst comes after Michelle revealed she was forced into self-isolation with her children after coming into contact with a neighbour who was diagnosed with COVID-19.

A week after going into quarantine, Michelle told her followers she was her seven day isolation after making it clear to fans neither her or children have ever had the virus.
