Meghan Markle’s verbose estranged half-sister’s attempts at reunification have been roundly rejected, according to reports.
After publicly calling Meghan a DuchA** and advising Prince Harry not to marry her "social climber" sis, Samantha Markle tried to visit the Duchess of Sussex at Kensington Palace, only to be turned away by police guards. The Sunday Mirror reports that she left a note for her Meghan.
A source told the newspaper: "This was a huge move on the part of Meghan’s sister to try to see her face to face and the fact she was turned away speaks volumes."
The rejection was visually dramatic as well, as Samantha is said to suffering from multiple sclerosis, and showed up at the Palace in a wheelchair. After getting rejected, she reportedly shopped for royal merchandise and ended up purchasing Meghan and Harry masks.
Samantha landed in London two weeks ago and has been publicly pleading with Meghan to give her another shot. In one PR pitch, she appeared on Jeremy Vine’s Channel 5 show and attempted to defend her decision to drag Meghan in public and encourage her father to pose for paid paparazzi shots. (A decision that ultimately forced him to pull out from attending the wedding in embarrassment).
Samantha said: "I would just say that there’s so much water under the bridge and so much has spun out of control that was never intended to.
She’s already piped up about this latest rejection on Twitter, writing: "Everybody would love to know what’s in that letter."
