Meghan Markle Snaps Photo for Couple on New Year’s Hike in Canada

A couple in Canada got some royal help with a photo this week while on a New Year’s Day hike. People reports that Asymina Kantorowicz and her boyfriend Iliya Pavlovic were struggling to take a picture of themselves in Victoria, British Columbia, with a selfie stick when Markle walked up to them and offered to snap a pic herself. The Duchess of Sussex was out hiking with Prince Harry and onetime Suits co-star Abigail Spencer. “I’m a Suits fan and I first noticed Abigail and then I looked up and realized it was Meghan taking the photo,” Kantorowicz says. “Then I looked back at the group and realized Prince Harry was there too!” She added, “I couldn’t believe who it was. There was Meghan smiling at me, waiting to take the photo…The only thing I could think to say to her was, ‘There’s only so much that selfie sticks can do.’ She laughed and said something like, ‘We’ll have to take a good photo then,’ and then Harry said, ‘No pressure.’” Meghan and Harry have been vacationing since Christmas in Canada, where they’ve also been joined by son Archie and Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland.
