Let the countdown begin! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visited the town of Birkenhead Monday, and the royals dropped a few details to the crowd of admirers that gathered to greet them.
"We asked her how her pregnancy was going and she said she was six months and she tapped her tummy," well-wisher Carla Gandy, who was there with her 4-year-old daughter Sofia, told People.
Meghan reportedly told others that she is due in late April. Kensington Palace has remained mum on the details, simply stating that Meghan "is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019."
"She said her pregnancy had gone so quickly," another woman, who wished to remain anonymous, told People. "I asked her how she was coping on those high heels. She said, ‘One day at a time!’"
Another admirer, a 7-year-old girl named Megan Dudley, offered a suggestion if their baby is a girl (Harry and Meghan haven’t said).
Dudley told reporters, "I asked her whether she would call her baby Amy if she has a girl, and she said, ‘That’s a really pretty name, I like it. We’ll have to think about it.’ "
British oddsmakers have been busily predicting the name of the baby. Within a minute of the baby news, Victoria jumped to the lead with 8/1. Alice and Elizabeth are also up there. For boys, Albert and Arthur lead the charge at 10/1.
