Horrors, Meghan Markle has broken royal fashion protocol yet again! The world’s most rebellious royal made a surprise appearance at the 2018 British Fashion Awards in London, and while many admired her stunning Givenchy gown and blossoming bump, others were quick to note her dark nail polish.
Evidently, Goth nails are a no-go for royals.
Meghan presented Givenchy’s artistic director Clare Waight Kelly with the Designer of the Year Award. Kelly, of course, designed her wedding dress. "This woman is so amazing," Keller gushed during her acceptance speech. "I got to know Meghan on such a personal level. To have someone like that trust you on such a personal moment in their life... I can't thank you enough because it was the most beautiful moment."
The dark polish was wild enough by royal standards, but Meghan got tongues wagging again when she opted to have some fun in a photobooth with Rosamund Pike and Keller.
Meanwhile, the Internet panicked after Madame Tussauds in Berlin unveiled two new wax creations designed to look like Meghan and Harry. The verdict? "Creepy," "unsettling," "inaccurate," "terrifying," were just a few of the choice adjectives deployed on Twitter to describe the wax masks.
The most "disturbing" aspect is, there are actual people wearing the masks, acting out various Christmas-themed scenarios like opening presents and chilling by the fire.
