Cringe! Chances are, there’s at least one blog or social media post gathering dust on the interwebs that would humiliate you today if someone dragged it up. That nightmare scenario has just happened for Meghan Markle.
People dug up a post from her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig, in which she mused about princesses, unaware that four years later, she’d be one in real life.
"Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power," she wrote, introducing an interview she conducted with Princess Alia Al-Senussi, admitting that she "had a bit of a ‘pinch-myself-I’m-emailing-with-a-princess’ moment" before her talk with the exiled Libyan royal and humanitarian in 2014.
Meghan even references her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton, and her wedding to Prince William. "Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate."
