Machine Gun Kelly Sued for Breaking Contract With Business Partner

Machine Gun Kelly is being sued by a former business partner who claims the rapper illegally broke their contract. According to documents obtained by Page Six, entertainment lawyer James McMillan claims he co-founded Kelly’s Est 19xx LLC entertainment company and helped broker a record deal with Interscope Records in 2011. He also alleges that he secured a merchandise deal that had the potential to “sell millions of dollars in retail and tour merchandise around the world.” He notes that by 2018, the rapper started doing business under a separate company called MGK Media and cut him out. McMillan and Est 19xx say that Kelly is required to start arbitration under the agreement but “refused,” claiming the agreement and arbitration clause “are not binding.”
