KEVIN SPACEY PLANS TO PLEAD NOT GUILTY, MUST APPEAR AT ARRAIGNMENT

Kevin Spacey’s request to not appear at his arraignment over sexual assault charges has been shot down by a judge, TMZ reports. His lawyers filed legal docs Monday, saying his presence would "amplify the negative publicity already generated in connection with the case."

Spacey has been accused of sexual misconduct by 30+ men, but this is the first time he has been formally charged. The alleged incident occurred in 2016, when Spacey allegedly groped an 18-year-old boy in a Nantucket bar.

He reportedly plans to plead not guilty.
