Kathy Griffin did not hold back when People asked her how she felt about former pals Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper.
The Watch What Happens Live host and producer famously replaced Griffin on CNN’s New Year’s Eve special in 2017 after Griffin landed in hot water posing with a fake severed head designed to look like President Donald Trump. She co-hosted the show with her friend Cooper, and she says that both men betrayed her.
She said: "Andy Cohen treated me like a dog. He was, like, one of the worst bosses I ever had."
She added: "He has not been very kind."
When asked about Cooper, who tweeted at the time that he was "disgusted" by her behavior, she said: "I really loved him, and I really loved doing that show, and it was a lot of fun." Griffin added the she didn’t have hope for a reconciliation.
Griffin continued: "You know, I don't think he's that kind of guy, you know what I mean? I just don't think he's wired that way."
She plans to tell her side of the story about the photo, the backlash and the effect it’s had on her life in Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story, set to drop in select theaters for one night on July 31st.
