Kanye West Tweets “Jesus Is King” Is Delayed Again to Fix Mixes on 3 Tracks

Jesus is…late again! Early Friday, Kanye West took to Twitter to tell fans that his <i>Jesus Is King</i> album really will be arriving ASAP after promising it would drop at midnight. “To my fans: Thank you for being loyal and patient,” ‘Ye tweeted around 2 a.m. ET. “We are specifically fixing mixes on ‘Everything We Need,’ ‘Follow God’ and ‘Water.’ We not going to sleep until this album is out!” That announcement came about seven hours after Kanye tweeted, “<i>Jesus Is King</i>. Midnight.” The album was first promised to arrive in late September; it’s had several alleged release dates since then, but the LP has still yet to materialize. Meanwhile, a <i>Jesus Is King</i> IMAX documentary is scheduled to debut in theaters on Friday.
