Jessica Simpson and her family of five have had a rough week. The 39-year-old shared that husband Eric, daughter Maxi, 7, son Ace, 6, and daughter Birdie, 7 months, got hit by a wave of illnesses and injuries.
"It was a challenging 10 days for the family. Lots of puke, scary high fevers, coughing, and a concussion to top it all off," Simpson shared on Instagram on Wednesday.
She included a shot of herself and Maxi catching their z's on the couch Several followers, including actress January Jones, shared their best wishes.
This latest rough patch comes on top of a tough year for Simpson who suffered "months of sciatica pain" while pregnant with Birdie, weeks of bronchitis and severe ankle swelling. After giving birth, she shed 100 pounds in six months, by prioritizing healthy eating, walks and lots of sleep.
Her trainer Harley Pasternak told People: "My mantra is you get lean in life, and strong in the gym. So the majority of the weight loss actually came from everything she did outside of the gym, and then everything in the gym is about toning and tightening."
