Ingrid Michaelson Teases Fall Tour, “Stranger Things”-Inspired LP

Ingrid Michaelson will hit the road this fall in support of a new album inspired by the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. Billboard reports that The Dramatic Tour will begin September 24 at 930 Club in Washington, D.C., and will include stops at Vic Theatre in Chicago, The Wiltern in Los Angeles, and two nights in Michaelson’s hometown of New York at Webster Hall. Michaelson also announced Tuesday that Stranger Songs will be released via Cabin 24 Records on June 28, days before the show’s season three premiere on July 4. “I took inspiration from the show and the characters and all these ideas started to come to me,” Michaelson explains. “Every song on the record includes a reference from the show, some more specific than others, but all of the themes are universal–these are feelings everyone has.”
