MTV ACQUIRES SNOWGLOBE FESTIVAL: As part of its live events push, MTV has acquired the SnowGlobe Music Festival, an annual three-day event held in South Lake Tahoe, California in December. The show draws about 20,000 attendees and mixes live music, art installations and extreme winter sports. “With SnowGlobe, MTV is taking the natural next step in its resurgence by expanding deeper into live events, as we continue to reach our fans and capitalize on our strong brand in new ways,” said Chris McCarthy, president of MTV, VH1, CMT and Logo. “In a festival space where many events have become indistinguishable, SnowGlobe stands out with a unique mix of music, sports, and art that makes it a favorite among artists and its growing audience.”

JOHNNY GALECKI AND ALAINA MEYER MAKE RED CARPET DEBUT: The 43-year-old Johnny Galecki and the 21-year-old Alaina Meyer made their red carpet debut Sunday night at the People’s Choice Awards. In September, the love birds made their social media debut, sharing pictures of themselves gazing into each other’s eyes.

TOY STORY 4 TEASER DROPS: A new buddy has joined the gang, but he isn’t in the mood for playing. In an new trailer for Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 4, Forky screams: “I don’t belong here. I’m not a toy!” Per the logline, an actual spork-turned-craft-project, Forky is pretty sure that he doesn’t belong in Bonnie’s room. Unfortunately, every time he tries to get away, someone yanks him back into an adventure he’d rather skip. Tom Hanks, Tony Hale, Joan Cusack and Don Rickles are among the voice cast. Toy Story 4 lands in theaters June 21, 2019.

SHERRY COLA JOINS DRAKE DOREMUS PROJECT: Good Trouble and Claws actress Sherry Cola is joining the cast of Drake Doremus’ untitled feature drama starring Shailene Woodley, Jamie Dornan, Sebastian Stan, Matthew Gray Gubler and others. The film follows Daphne (Woodley), as she deals with love and heartbreak over the course of a year; during that time, she will also discover secrets from her past.
