THE WORLD’S BEST TO LAUNCH AFTER SUPER BOWL: It doesn’t get more high-profile than this! CBS’ upcoming reality series, The World’s Best, will premiere right after the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 3rd, according to the network. James Corden is hosting, with RuPaul, Drew Barrymore and Faith Hill as judges. The 10-episode series has been described as a global talent competition featuring acts from all genres and all corners of the world.

DESTROYER TRAILER DROPS: The new trailer for Nicole Kidman’s toplined noir thriller Destroyer has dropped. The film, per the logline, "follows the moral and existential odyssey of LAPD detective Erin Bell who, as a young cop, was placed undercover with a gang in the California desert with tragic results. When the leader of that gang re-emerges many years later, she must work her way back through the remaining members and into her own history with them to finally reckon with the demons that destroyed her past." The trailer shows Bell (Kidman) carrying a baby in a desert in one shot, searching for food and getting trigger happy. Annapurna will release Destroyer in New York in L.A. on Christmas Day and expand nationally in January.

PROPERTY BROTHERS PRODUCER SLAPPED WITH SUIT: Cineflix Media, the company behind Property Brothers and Mayday, is facing a $35 million class-action lawsuit alleging workers are denied proper pay and benefits. Cineflix Media CEO Glen Salzman told The Hollywood Reporter that his company has retained lawyers and plans to "defend ourselves vigorously."
