FOX SELLS 39% STAKE IN SKY: After weighing options, 21stCentury Fox has decided to sell its 39% stake in Sky to Comcast for more than $15 billion. The Philadelphia-based conglomerate will now have full control of the European network. Disney approved the move (the House of Mouse is set to acquire most of Fox, which would have also made it Sky’s stepparent). Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger said, "Along with the net proceeds from the divestiture of the RSNs, the sale of Fox’s Sky holdings will substantially reduce the cost of our overall acquisition and allow us to aggressively invest in building and creating high-quality content for our direct-to-consumer platforms to meet the growing demands of viewers."

SONS OF ANARCHY STAR JOHN PAUL VASQUEZ DIES: John Paul Vasquez has died. The Sons of Anarchy star was 48 years old. The cause of death is being investigated, but multiple reports say he was found dead in his father’s home. Vasquez appeared in a number of iconic shows, including ER, NYPD Blue and 21 Jump Street.

KRISTEN BELL, JOSH GAD, ZACHARY LEVI IN FOR KINGDOM HEARTS 3: Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Zachary Levin will voice their iconic roles from Frozen and Tangled for Kingdom Hearts III. The role playing game from Square Enix and Disney will feature several iconic Disney/Pixar characters. The series focuses on Sora, his companions Donald Duck and Goofy. Haley Joel Osment will voice Sora, with Tony Anselmo and Bill Farmer reprising their roles as the Duck and Goofy. Kingdom Hearts III will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Jan. 25, 2019.

JAMES WAN TO PRODUCE TRAIN TO BUSAN REMAKE: The South Korean zombie film Train to Busan is getting an American remake. Horror master James Wan is attached to produce a remake of the 2016 cult-classic, set within a moving train. Gary Dauberman (The Nun, It), is penning the script.
