'GAME OF THRONES' WINS 7 AT THE CREATIVE ARTS EMMYS: Out of 22 overall nominations for the Creative Arts Emmy's, Game of Thrones took home 7 trophies in the first night of the two-part ceremony. This doesn't include the Primetime Emmy's ceremony on September 17.

'THE HANDMAID'S TALE' ACTRESS WINS FIRST EMMY: After 2 nominations, Samira Wiley has won her first Creative Arts Emmy Award. Over the weekend, she picked up The Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Moira in The Handmaid's Tale. In her acceptance speech she said, "I’d like to thank my higher power because without her I wouldn't be here."

THERE WILL BE A SEQUEL TO 'CALL ME BY YOUR NAME': Call Me By Your Name star, Armie Hammer says there will be a sequel to the movie, stating, "It will happen because there are already people working on it and trying to make it happen." He made the statement at the Toronto International Film Festival while promoting his new real-life drama Hotel Mumbai.

'THE VIEW' HOSTS UNDER FIRE FOR 'ALMOST' MOCKING FIRST LADY: Hosts of ABC’s The View are under fire from Melania Trump’s chief spokesperson, calling them, "disrespectful and hypocritical" for "mocking someone's accent." It happened during a discussion on the anonymous op-ed that appeared last week in the New York Times. Host, Sunny Hostin began reading in a faux Slovenian accent and then Whoopie Goldberg warned her not to do it. She then read the story in a normal voice.

BRAD PITT IS BEING SUED: Brad Pitt's Make It Right Foundation is being sued by 2 New Orleans residents who claim the organization built and sold defective homes in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. He's being sued personally, for unfair trade practices, breach of contract and fraud. He's been working on making repairs at the homes for more than a year.
