TIFFANY HADDISH IS SERVING UP COMEDY IN THE OATH: A teaser trailer from The Oath, starring Ike Barinholtz and Tiffany Haddish shows the pair dishing out the laughs on the fierce take on Thanksgiving dinners in our newly, highly politicized world. (The premise: all Americans are being asked to sign a loyalty oath by the day after Thanksgiving). "I’m not going to ruin Thanksgiving," Barinholtz’s Chris pledges. Then it cuts to him screaming: "You are Nazis!" The Oath hits theaters, via Roadside Attractions, on October 12.

CNN TO RELEASE ANTHONY BOURDAIN DOCUMENTARY: In October, New York’s Food Film Festival will open with an unaired episode of Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown, as a tribute to the chef who committed suicide in June. And next year, CNN will air a documentary on his life and work. Pre-production has just geared up.

STAR WARS: RESISTANCE TRAILER DROPS: The Disney Channel has released the first look at its new animated show, Star Wars: Resistance. Disney also revealed that the show will launch at 10 p.m. on October 7th. Resistance is set before the events in The Force Awakens, and follows Kazuda "Kaz" Xiono (Christopher Sean), a pilot recruited for a top-secret mission to spy on the First Order. The voice cast also includes Josh Brener, Donald Faison, Jim Rash, Bobby Moynihan, Gwendoline Christie, Myrna Velasco and Rachel Butera.

MICHAEL CHE AND COLIN JOST GET POLITICAL IN EMMYS PROMO: Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost and Michael Che are hosting this year’s Emmy Awards on September 17th, and while the hosts previously claimed they would shelve politics in favor of fun, it seems they may go there. (Or at least … Che will). You planning to watch?
