TARAJI P. HENSON KNOW WHAT MEN WANT: The trailer for What Men Want, starring Taraji P. Henson dropped Tuesday. Adam Shankman is remaking Nancy Meyers’ 2000 romantic comedy What Women Want, with Henson sliding into Mel Gibson’s role. She plays Ali Davis, a sports agent who got passed over for a promotion and can’t see why until she gains the ability to hear men’s thoughts. Paramount releases What Men Want to theaters January 11, 2019.

MAHERSHALA ALI PLAYS THE PIANO IN GREEN BOOK TRAILER: Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen are hitting the road in Green Book, Peter Farrelly’s take on racism and … piano playing. Ali plays famed pianist Don Shirley, who hired Tony Lip (Mortensen) as a security guard and driver in the Deep South. Green Book will premiere at this year’s Toronto Film Festival.

KERRY WASHINGTON TO STAR IN AND PRODUCE OLD CITY BLUES: Hulu is deepening its relationship with Kerry Washington, who is set to star in Little Fires Everywhere for the streamer. Now, the Scandal alum will star in and exec producer Old City Blues, a take on the Boom! Studios graphic novel of the same name. Gore Verbinksi will direct. The 2011 story, written by Giannis Milonogiannis, is set in the ruins of Greece in 2048, with a cast of high-tech criminals, corrupt politicos and drug dealers.
