NBC ANNOUNCES ELLEN DEGENERES' HOLIDAY EVENT SERIES: In a three-night holiday event series taking place December 10-12, Ellen DeGeneres' special will feature a ton of celebrity guests, who will help her deliver gifts to unsuspecting people. Among the guests announced are Michelle Obama, Jennifer Anniston and Robert Downey Jr.

KATE MCKINNON SLATED TO STAR IN NEW LIMITED SERIES ‘JOE EXOTIC': Emmy-winning SNL actress Kate McKinnon is set to headline a new series on UCP. The series, called Joe Exotic, is based on a podcast about a big cat enthusiast who starts a rivalry with a fellow exotic animal lover.

JULIANNA MARGULIES AND CORY STOLL SET TO JOING THE CAST OF BILLIONS: Showtime's premium cable show Billions is about to add some top-notch cast members to their roster. Emmy-winner Julianna Margulies will join the series as a bestselling author who teaches sociology, and Cory Stoll will play a business titan.

RONNY CHIENG TO HOST THE 47TH INTERNATIONAL EMMY AWARDS: Comedian and actor Ronny Chieng is set to host the upcoming international Emmys in New York later this month. Chieng was one of the stars "Crazy Rich Asians", and is also a correspondent on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah." The Gala will also include a appearance by Conleth Hill (AKA Lord Varys in "Game of Thrones"), who will be giving an award to the creators of the hit HBO series.

CAUSE OF CAR CRASH THAT KILLED JESSI COMBS REVEALED: Authorities have released the cause of death in the crash that took the life of Jessi Holmes, a professional racer and TC personality from the show Mythbusters. The Harney County Sheriff's Office says "…it appears that there was a mechanical failure of the front wheel, most likely caused from striking an object…" Combs was 39.
