MUPPETS SHOW KILLED BY DISNEY: Muppets Live Another Day, a Muppets TV show being developed by Disney+, is dead on arrival, according to reports. Show creators Adam Horowitz, Eddy Kitsis and Josh Gad reportedly quit the project, which was billed as a scripted show that followed 1984's Muppets Take Manhattan. This series is separate from the previously announced short-form show Muppets Now, set to debut in 2020.

NETFLIX, DISNEY STOCKS DROP AS APPLE SHARES PRICE PLAN: The shares of Netflix and Disney took a dive Tuesday after Apple announced that it would offer a subscription to Apple TV+ for $4.99. Disney's streamer is priced at $6.99 while Netflix's ranges from $8.99-$15.99.

FIRST LOOK AT SMALL AXE: BBC has unveiled its first peek at Small Axe, a six-part anthology series from 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen. Amazon is distributing in the U.S. Black Panther's Letitia Wright and Star Wars' John Boyega star in the series, which is set in the West Indian community in London, circa 1960s-80s.

ANIMAL PLANET UNLEASHES PET-ADOPTION SERIES: Animal Planet wants you to adopt a new pet, via Give a Dog a Home Live! on Tuesday. The show will air live from noon to 1 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays from the Animal Planet studios. Audiences will visit centers and shelters around the country to meet dogs, cats and other animals available for adoption.

FACE/OFF REBOOT IN THE WORKS: Paramount is bringing back Face/Off via 22 Jump Street writer Oren Uziel. John Travolta and Nicolas Cage starred in the 1997 original from John Woo.
