NAOMI WATTS RESPONDS TO QUESTIONS ABOUT GOT PREQUEL: Winter is coming, and Naomi Watts knows how to freeze late night show hosts like Jimmy Fallon. In October it was confirmed that Watts had signed on to play a role in the untitled GOT prequel; her character is described as "a charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret." Naturally, when she appeared on The Tonight Show, Fallon had some questions, but she shut him down with a simple "No," when asked to dish. We appreciate the effort, Fallon!

GEMINI MAN TRAILER DROPS: Ang Lee's Gemini Man is billed by Paramount as "an innovative action-thriller starring Will Smith as Henry Brogan, an elite assassin, who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative that seemingly can predict his every move." Fans got a glimpse of Smith in the starring role in a new trailer. In it, he says: "It was like I was seeing a ghost," launching action-packed footage of stunts and martial arts. The film drops October 11th.

VENICE FILM LINEUP UNVEILED: The Venice Film Festival has unveiled its bold-faced line-up for 2019. Stand-outs include the Warner Bros/DC origins story Joker; Fox/Disney's Brad Pitt space drama Ad Astra; Steven Soderbergh's starry Netflix dark comedy, The Laundromat; Noah Baumbach's Marriage Story from Netflix and Kristen Stewart drama Seberg (formerly Against All Enemies).

NETFLIX KILLS DESIGNATED SURVIVOR, TUCA & BERTIE: Two more star-studded Netflix shows have been nixed. The first is Designated Survivor, which starred Kiefer Sutherland as a low-level cabinet secretary who became President. The second is Tuca & Bertie, an animated series that starred Tiffany Hadish and Ali Wong.
