'PAWN STARS' PATRIACH DEAD AT AGE 77: Richard Harrison, known to "Pawn Stars" fans as "The Old Man," died Monday morning (June 25th) after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. His son, Rick Harrison, who costarred with him on the History Channel show, announced on Instagram that his father died at age 77, "surrounded by the ones he loved."

MOVIE ACADEMY FURTHER DIVERSIFIES, ISSUES 928 MORE INVITATIONS: The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences issued 928 invitations to new members, the company announced Monday (June 25). Deadline reports some of the newly invited members include Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip), Dave Chappelle (Chapelle’s Show), Timothee Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name) and Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out).

‘DEADPOOL 2’ BECOMES THIRD-BIGGEST R-RATED MOVIE: Deadpool 2 eclipsed the $700-million mark worldwide this weekend, which makes it the No. 3 R-Rated movie of all time, behind Deadpool and The Matrix Reloaded. YOUTUBE ORDERS 10-EPISODE DARK COMEDY SERIES STARRING KIRSTEN DUNST: YouTube finalized a deal for a 10-episode series starring (and executive produced by) Kirsten Dunst, called On Becoming A God In Central Florida. According to Deadline, The dark comedy series will stream on YouTube Premium in 2019, and it centers around a water-park employee who begins an ascent up a multi-billion dollar pyramid scheme.
