A woman confronted accused serial rapist Harvey Weinstein at an event in Manhattan Wednesday night. She was escorted out, TMZ reports.
The disgraced movie mogul was at Downtime Bar on the Lower East Side for an event dubbed Actors Hour, which is billed as a place to "create an open space for creatives to share what they love."
Zoe Stuckless watched a comedian get onstage and ask the crowd to confront the "elephant in the room," and got confronted by boos. Stuckless became furious watching Weinstein laugh, clap, drink and carry on without a peep from anyone.
She got fed up and yelled, "Nobody's gonna say anything?" She repeated the question, walked up to Weinstein and said ... "I'm gonna stand 4 feet from a f***ing rapist and no one's gonna say anything?"
Weinstein did not react to her, but she was escorted out by event organizers and his bodyguard.
Weinstein's spokesperson tells TMZ, "Harvey Weinstein was out with friends enjoying the music and trying to find some solace in his life that has been turned upside down. This scene was uncalled for, downright rude and an example of how due process today is being squashed by the public, trying to take it away in the courtroom too."
