Glastonbury Organizer Refutes Rumored Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper Performance

A Bradley Cooper/Lady Gaga reunion will not be born at this year’s Glastonbury festival. On Monday, festival co-organizer Emily Eavis took to Twitter to shut down rumors that the Star Is Born co-stars were preparing a surprise set for this year’s event, which kicks off on Wednesday. “Before this one gets out of control…the answer is no, that isn’t happening,” Eavis wrote while retweeting an NME headline that reads, “Could Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga be playing a secret A Star Is Born set at Glastonbury?” The rumor reportedly got started on Sunday when DJ and presenter Edith Bowman hinted about a secret Glastonbuy gig, “Well…I may know one. I can’t possibly say.” Then she indeed went on to say, “On my podcast [Soundtracking] I had Bradley Cooper…He said, ‘Well, we have been talking to Nick [Dewey, Glastonbury booker] and Emily [Eavis, co-organiser] about it.'”
