While most people exchanged hugs and high-fives when the clock struck midnight on December 31, <i>Friends</i> fans were just ticked off. That’s because the popular syndicated sitcom stopped streaming on Netflix as the new year struck–and won’t reappear online until it makes its debut this coming spring on HBO Max. Fans expressed their frustration on social media, while <i>Variety</i> notes that the only ways to watch the show between now and May 2020 are on DVD, through cable reruns on TBS and Nickelodeon, or through digital retailers like Amazon and iTunes.
