Felicity Huffman Released From Prison 3 Days Early
Actress Felicity Huffman was released from Dublin, California’s Federal Correctional Institution on Friday morning, three days before the conclusion of her 14-day jail sentence. According to People, U.S. Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons policy states that inmates slated for a weekend or holiday release–as Huffman was–are generally required to be sprung on a weekday. In addition to jail time, Huffman must pay a $30,000 fine, do 250 hours of community service and be supervised for a year. The punishment stemmed from her paying college admissions consultant Rick Singer $15,000 to facilitate the doctoring of her daughter Sophia’s SAT test.
