Ellie Goulding Slammed Over Lampshade Hat During Halftime Show of Cowboys’ Loss to Bills

Ellie Goulding made her halftime show during the Cowboys-Bills Thanksgiving day game a memorable one, although maybe not how she intended it, CNN reports. The pop singer wore a lampshade-esque hat and half-white, half-black outfit, which garnered predictable criticism from Twitter users. One poster compared her to Patrick Star from SpongeBob Squarepants, while another asked, “Why is Ellie Goulding wearing my grandmother’s chandelier on her head?” On the field, the Dallas Cowboys late season swoon continued, as the visiting Buffalo Bills beat them 26-15, in the AFC franchises first Thanksgiving win since 1975. ESPN reports that Bills’ QB Josh Allen led the team with a career best 120.7 passer rating, to keep the suddenly surging Bills squarely in the AFC playoff hunt. Buffalo will next face the Baltimore Ravens at home on Sunday, while the Cowboys have to travel to play the Bears in Chicago on Thursday.
