AJ The Morning Show with AJ & McCall Mon-Fri 6am-10pm
“Born in the remote Alps of Kodar, AJ was raised by an articulate clan of yetis. At a young age AJ discovered a broken radio which he took apart and tinkered with until it began to work. This radio began AJ’s love of music. The yeti clan loved when AJ would DJ for them and helped shape the strong love of radio. At the age of 18 AJ set out into the world to make a name for himself. He finally hit the big time with landing the coveted job at VFX and has earned the love of millions through the airwaves.” – (Shari Wilson)
That’s definitely much more interesting than starting radio in high school in Lafayette, Indiana and doing it through college at Purdue University where I got my film degree.
McCall McCalls 411, The Morning Show with AJ & McCall Mon-Fri 6am-10am
McCall was born into a loving family with 26 brothers and sisters. At the age of six McCall was kidnapped by Rupert, the laser eyed cyborg. Rupert loved and raised McCall as if she were his own baby cyborg, destroying everything that got in her way. She discovered her love of radio as a teenager. As an adult Rupert made sure none stood in the way of her obtaining her dream as a radio dj. She is now happily working at her dream job while Rupert stands watch near by lasers ready for any crazy fans that get out of hand. Most of that story is made up, aside from the dream to be in radio. In all reality, McCall is an adventure seeker, lover of all things furry, sassy as all get out, and literally just pumped about life. You can usually catch her rocking a snap-back and a cat themed shirt spending her free time with her dogs, boyfriend Dustin, and working on her home listening to Taylor Swift. Work hard, play hard.
Jen Mon-Fri 10am-2pm
After graduating from UIndy longer ago than she’s willing to admit, Jenn started her “real” radio career in Marion-Carbondale Illinois, followed by Greenville, South Carolina (where she scooped up a husband) and Joplin, Missouri before finding her way back to Indianapolis. When she’s not talking into a microphone, Jenn’s typically yelling at the TV during White Sox, Bears, and Gamecocks games, attempting to try all the restaurants with her husband, and keeping the tiny one better dressed than herself.
Greg Mon-Fri 2pm-6pm, Sat 2pm-6pm
Morning Radio Host, TV Spokesperson and Emcee. Broadcasting professionally since 1989, Greg knew early on this would be his career path. “I was 7 years old when my parents bought me a microphone that would connect to our home stereo. I could hear my voice through the speakers and thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I’d interview family members at the holidays, going one by one at the dining room table. I enjoyed making them laugh and getting them excited about whatever I was talking to them about.”
In Greg’s spare time, he enjoys riding his bike, working out and spending time with Justine & Avery. “Justine is the human, Avery is the cat.”
Matty G. Mon-Thurs 6pm-midnight, Fri 6pm-10pm, Sun 2pm-6pm
Matty G is a Utahn, born and bred. But not inbred. Let’s just make sure that we are on the same page with that. He learned everything he knew from Arthur and Wishbone growing up. We try to keep him from singing the stupid theme songs but we may have to start washing his mouth out with dish soap if he doesn’t stop. He got into radio after all his teachers got sick of him and one actually made the suggestion that he use that yapper to make some money. So here he is. The pride and joy of the night show of Utah’s VFX.
