Demi Lovato Will Perform at Grammys After Keeping a Low Profile Following Overdose

Demi Lovato announced on Tuesday that she would be performing at this month’s Grammy Awards, according to The Los Angeles Times. The “Confident” singer has kept a relatively low profile over the past couple of years and was treated for a drug overdose in July 2018. However, in November at a teen magazine summit, she said she was feeling healthy and strong. “I am grateful for my strength and things I can do with my body. I am saying I’m healthy, and I accept the way my body is today without changing anything.” She mentioned new music, but said she was “so cautious this time around of jumping back into things.” Lovato will join Aerosmith, Billie Eilish, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande and Lizzo as performers on the Grammys telecast, which will air January 26 on CBS.
