Coronavirus: Love Island’s Shelby Mills breaks self-isolation to get Botox and fillers

Love Island’s Shelby Mills breaks self-isolation to get Botox and fillers – after defying social distancing advice by visiting a hair salon AND attending a wedding

Not even the coronavirus pandemic can get in the way of Love Island Australia star Shelby Mills’ beauty regimen.

On Monday, the Gold Coast-based influencer, 26, shared a video to Instagram of herself visiting a beauty clinic to get Botox and lip filler.

She ignored the government’s advice to keep 1.5 metres away from others by reclining in a chair while her aesthetician leaned in close to her face.

‘Last touch ups of anti-wrinkle!’ Shelby captioned footage of herself receiving injections in her forehead.

‘Touch up of my lips’, she wrote next to another clip of the nurse injecting her top lip.

It comes after Shelby openly flouted social distancing recommendations over the weekend.

Shelby began her Saturday by posting a video of a bikini-clad friend climbing around her body as part of an Instagram challenge.

She then filmed her trip to a hair salon and had her makeup done professionally.

The reality star attended a wedding in the afternoon, before spending the evening cuddling up to other guests as they danced in close proximity.

While on the dance floor, Shelby pretended to lick a friend as their faces touched.

As of Tuesday morning, there are 1,716 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Australia, including seven deaths.

To limit the spread of coronavirus, NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard urged citizens on Friday to follow the 1.5 metre recommendation.

‘We are in a different time,’ Hazzard said, after thousands of people flocked to Bondi Beach on Friday, sparking a wave of international outrage.

‘We need to behave in different ways and that is to keep your distance. The recommendation is at least 1.5 metres. That is a sensible recommendation that people should sensibly take on board,’ he added.

‘Whether you are on Bondi or in a church, separate by 1.5 metres.’
