College Admissions Scandal Series in the Works From Annapurna TV

A television series about the ongoing college admissions scandal is reportedly in the works at Annapurna TV. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the company has already optioned rights to Accepted, a forthcoming book about the scandal from Wall Street Journal reporters Melissa Korn and Jennifer Levitz. The book details the admissions scandal in which 50 people–including actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin–were indicted for rigging exams and paying bribes to get their kids admitted to prestigious universities. Emmy winner D.V. DeVincentis (The People v. O.J. Simpson, High Fidelity) has signed on to adapt the book as a limited series, but no outlet is attached yet.
