HUGH JACKMAN DIDN’T KNOW WOLVERINES WERE REAL: You learn something new every day. Hugh Jackman, for one, recently learned that wolverines are actual animals, not creations developed for the X-Men. "Embarrassingly, I didn’t know what a wolverine was, I’d never heard of such an animal," he admitted on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. "I presumed it was a made up name for the comic book. I’d never read an X-Men comic, I’d never seen a wolverine. We don’t have them in our zoos." Jackman, of course, played Wolverine from 2000-2017.

TAMERA MOWRY PAYS TRIBUTE TO NIECE: Bittersweet. As Tamera Mowry mourns the loss of her niece Alaina Housley in the mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, she is also celebrating her son Aden’s birthday. She honored them both on Instagram, captioning a photo of them together: "Happy 6th birthday Aden! Alaina was excited to come to your birthday party. VANESSA MARCIL OPENS UP ABOUT STRUGGLES WITH BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN: General Hospital alum Vanessa Marcil, 50, is claiming on Instagram that her ex Brian Austin Green, 45, "cut out" their 16-year-old son Kassius from his life with Megan Fox. She wrote: "12 years ago I was served legal papers and then spent 8 years+ defending myself and my son in custody court in response to his father & his stepmother trying to get full custody (that means I would have seen my son four days a month) and then asking me to pay them child support. They lost that case & a civil case asking me for 200,000." Five years ago, she continues, they cut him out of their lives, and he’s never met his half-brother Journey River, and never sees his other two half-sibs Bodhi Ransom and Noah Shannon. "Kass has been truly heartbroken since being cut out of his other families lives with NO explanation," she concluded. "Let’s do better for our kids. Let’s share our stories."
