BARBRA STREISAND DRAGS A STAR IS BORN: Barbra Streisand, who starred in a previous incarnation of the blockbuster A Star Is Born, damned the current Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper vehicle with decidedly faint praise. Speaking to the New York Times, she sniffed: "I haven't seen it completed. Bradley Cooper did show me the opening. I was surprised by how similar it was to my version. I loved how he used the drag bar. I thought that was new and interesting. What I've seen of the film I really liked." Streisand won an Oscar in 1977 for Best Original Song.

MR. FEENY STOPS HOME INVASION: William Daniels, most famous for playing Mr. Feeny in Boy Meets World, reportedly stopped a burglar from entering his home over the weekend. TMZ reports that Daniels, 91, and his wife Bonnie Bartlett were sitting at their home in the San Fernando Valley Saturday when someone tried to kick in the back door. Daniels turned the lights on and off and intruder fled. His rep told People: "Someone tried to break in to the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Daniels on Saturday evening. Luckily, Mr. Daniels was able to frighten away the person and the LAPD quickly responded. They are both well. Mr. Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern."

Live Nation and Crown Publishing announced the star-studded cast of supporters Tuesday. Obama’s book comes out November 13th. She will make 12 stops in all.

NAOMI WATTS JOINS GOT PREQUEL: The Game of Thrones prequel series is getting closer to happening, with Naomi Watts in a starring role! The prequel, still officially in pilot stage, hails from Jane Goldman (X-Men: First Class) and writer George R.R. Martin. What can fans expect? "Only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros' history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend…it's not the story we think we know," the series' cryptic logline reads. GOT’s final season debuts in 2019.

BEN AFFLECK CAN’T CATCH A BREAK: Fresh off his divorce from Jennifer Garner and release from rehab, Ben Affleck has become a target in the (fake) war between his BFF Matt Damon and late night funnyman Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel, 50, and Damon, 48, wore "I’m With Stupid" t-shirts (pointed at each other, natch) during Game 5 of the World Series, but on Monday, poor Affleck got dragged in. "The biggest loser last night, even though his team won, really was Ben Affleck, who made the mistake of sitting between us with our shirts," the comedian said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, October 29. "I believe they call it ‘collateral damage.’"
