PETA HONORS BRADLEY COOPER: Bradley Cooper has a new fanbase. PETA is honoring the auteur and star for casting his pup Charlie in A Star Is Born. The 43-year-old will be the first-ever recipient of its Compassion in Film Award. "Bradley Cooper’s happy, adorable, and much-loved dog steals the spotlight — and viewers’ hearts — in this film because it’s clear that he loved being with his real-life ‘dad,'" PETA senior VP Lisa Lange said in a statement. "PETA has witnessed so much abuse and neglect of dogs, both on and off set, that we’re hoping Cooper’s kind decision sets a precedent for all of Hollywood to follow."
RAY DONOVAN STAR ARRESTED: Marion "Pooch" Hall, who plays Darryl Donovan on Showtime’s Ray Donovan, was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of drunken driving and child endangerment, according to multiple reports. Officers in Burbank responded to a crash Wednesday night and witnesses "reported seeing a man driving a Chrysler 300 sedan weaving in and out of traffic with a small child seated on his lap," according to a police statement. "One witness reported seeing the child’s hands on the steering wheel." Showtime declined to comment.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE AND JESSICA BIEL SURPRISE STUDENTS AT OHIO SCHOOL: Well, hello there! Students at LeBron James’ PROMISE school got the surprise of their life when Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel popped by. The Sinner star, 36, and her "Say Something" husband spent time with the kids the day after his October 2nd performance in Cleveland. "When @justintimberlake & @jessicabiel show up to @kingjames’ I PROMISE school to surprise his kids…we show them ALL the moves!" the school’s account wrote on Instagram. "#WeAreFamily #IPROMISE."
CHRIS EVANS WRAPS CAPTAIN AMERICA: Chris Evans is hanging up his shield. "Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor," the actor tweeted. Evans wrapped Avengers 4. He played Johnny Storm in a few Fantastic Four films and first took on the Steve Rogers role in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger. Avengers 4 opens May 3, 2019.
