LINDA HUNT SERIOUSLY INJURED IN CAR ACCIDENT: The Oscar-winning NSIS: Los Angeles star Linda Hunt has been hospitalized for injuries sustained in a car crash in Hollywood Monday, TMZ reports. The 73-year-old was making a left turn in her BMW SUV when she ran into a sedan and another SUV. "Hunt was visibly shaken, and witnesses escorted her to a lawn chair on the sidewalk," TMZ’s report said. "We’re told paramedics evaluated Linda on the chair and then determined she needed to be taken to the hospital." The other drivers suffered minor injuries.

BEN STILLER NAMED U.N. GOODWILL AMBASSADOR: Ben Stiller has been named a Goodwill Ambassador by UNHCR, the U.N. Refugee Agency. He was inspired by a recent trip to Guatemala, he said. "Here in Guatemala, the families, including children, that I met experienced fear and violence back home that is beyond imagination. They are vulnerable and have suffered immensely," Stiller said in a statement distributed by the agency. "They need help."
