NICOLE KIDMAN HORRIFIES CHILDREN BY RESCUING GIANT SPIDER: Spidermom! Nicole Kidman gave her friends (and some fans) a scare when she rescued an enormous spider from her pool (exact location unknown). The Australian native is no stranger to hairy scaries and remained calm. "Get back, mom! Step back!" one of her children begged. But the 51-year-old scooped it up and gave fans a look at it under glass. "I'm having to take care of this spider. Help," she said. She later confirmed that her "house guest" was released "unharmed and healthy." Kidman has been married to Keith Urban, 50, for 12 years. They share two daughters, Rose, 9, and Faith Margaret, 7. Kidman also shares two children with ex-husband Tom Cruise: Isabella, 25, and Connor, 23.

BILL COSBY CHALLENGING COURT’S DECISION TO CLASSIFY HIM AS SEXUALLY VIOLENT: Bill Cosby’s lawyers are challenging the legality of the disgraced comedian’s classification as a sexually violent predator. If he is classified as such, he must receive counseling by a state-approved provider for the rest of his life. A judge has yet to rule on the legal challenge. The 81-year-old Cosby is set for sentencing September 24thon three counts of aggravated indecent assault. He plans to appeal his conviction.

GINA RODRIGUEZ ENGAGED TO JOE LOCICERO? Jane the Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez is engaged to Joe LoCicero, according to evidence posted on Instagram. (She’s wearing a honking sparkler on that finger). She also happened to turn 34. Happy birthday and congrats!

ADAM RIPPON TO JUDGE DANCING WITH THE STARS: Adam Rippon is taking over the judging panel on Dancing With the Stars after dominating the ABC series last season. He will sit on the panel with La La Land choreographer Mandy Moore (not the other Mandy) and DWTS alum and dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy.

QUEEN’S GRANDDAUGHTER REVEALS SECOND MISCARRIAGE: Zara Tindall revealed that she had a second miscarriage before welcoming her daughter Lena last month. Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, who also has a 4-year-old daughter named Mia, told the Sunday Times of the miscarriage: "You need to go through a period where you don’t talk about it because it’s too raw but, as with everything, time’s a great healer."
