PAMELA ANDERSON WANTS HOLLYWOOD TO SUPPORT JULIAN ASSANGE: Pamela Anderson wants Hollywood to support her longtime pal Julian Assange. At Cannes, she spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about how she believes the U.S. government is persecuting the WikiLeaks founder, who was arrested on April 11 in London. On May 23, he was indicted by the U.S. government on 17 charges of espionage. "Now it’s really important for Hollywood to get behind Julian Assange. I don’t mind coming to these parties and talking to friends and seeing how they feel about it," she said. "I just visited him in prison. It was terrible. He’s isolated, vilified; just a combination of human rights violations."
SHILOH TURNS 13: Angelina Jolie took her freshly minted teenager Shiloh Jolie-Pitt to a popular L.A. escape room dubbed The Basement to toast her 13-year-old birthday. The "live" escape room features real actors, and a story unfolds that is based on the fictional tale of Edward Tandy, who goes insane after his mother’s death and begins killing and taxidermying animals. Participants have 45 minutes to "escape" before Edward turns to human sacrifice. Jolie shares Shiloh with her ex Brad Pitt. Shiloh is her fourth child to enter the teen years.

CHRIS KATTAN CLAIMS AFFAIR DESTROYED FRIENDSHIP WITH WILL FERRELL: Saturday Night Live alum Chris Kattan is claiming that his short-lived relationship with Amy Heckerling destroyed his friendship with Will Ferrell. He claims that producer Lorne Michaels pressured him into a relationship with Heckerling, hoping it would pressure her into staying attached as director of A Night at the Roxbury, in which he and Ferrell starred. Kattan made the claims in his memoir, Baby, Don’t Hurt Me. "I didn’t know or hadn’t let myself see until that moment that although the situation with Amy hadn’t directly involved Will, my actions and dishonesty had made him feel deceived and betrayed," Kattan said. "And now everything Will and I had done and shared — everything that had made us feel like a team, that incredible amount of trust that been built up — was broken," he said.
MTV RETRACTS JASON MITCHELL'S MOVIE & TV AWARDS NOMINATION FOLLOWING MISCONDUCT ALLEGATIONS: Jason Mitchell is losing out on his MTV Movie & TV Awards nomination following misconduct allegations. The 32-year-old actor was fired from The Chi and dropped by his agent and manager after multiple accusations of inappropriate behavior. Jason was originally up for Best Performance in a Show for his role on The Chi, but will no longer be in the running. The remaining nominees are Emilia Clarke, Elisabeth Moss, Gina Rodriguez and Kiernan Shipka. The show will air on June 17th.
